Mexico stocks lower at close of trade; IPC down 0.27%
Mexico stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms Services, Materials and Consumer Goods&Services sectors led shares lower.At the close in Mexico, the IPC declined 0.27% to hit a new 6-months low.The best performers of the session on the IPC were Alfa, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:ALFAA), which rose 4.21% or 0.820 points to trade at 20.300 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (MX:OMAB) added 1.72% or 1.550 points to end at 91.820 and Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (MX:LABB) was up 1.59% or 0.350 points to 22.340 in late trade.The worst performers of the session were Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:GCARSOA1), which fell 3.03% or 1.900 points to trade at 60.800 at the close. Grupo Aeroportuario Del Sureste (MX:ASURB) declined 2.50% or 8.28 points to end at 322.86 and Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO) was down 2.19% or 1.68 points to 74.87.Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 151 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.Shares in Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:GCARSOA1) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.03% or 1.900 to 60.800. Shares in Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (MX:TLVACPO) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.19% or 1.68 to 74.87. Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.10% or 1.28 to $1280.18 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 3.14% or 1.78 to hit $54.98 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.21% or 0.13 to trade at $61.55 a barrel.USD/MXN was down 0.03% to 19.1612, while EUR/MXN rose 0.01% to 22.6132.The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 93.72.
