Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.52%
Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.52%.The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 4.13% or 3.7 points to trade at 93.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) added 3.35% or 19.2 points to end at 592.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.07% or 162 points to 7998 in late trade.The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK), which fell 2.20% or 5.4 points to trade at 239.6 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) declined 1.86% or 5.9 points to end at 310.8 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) was down 1.76% or 1.9 points to 103.5.Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 69 to 55 and 20 ended unchanged.Shares in Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) fell to 5-year lows; down 1.76% or 1.9 to 103.5. Crude oil for August delivery was up 5.26% or 2.84 to $56.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 3.93% or 2.43 to hit $64.25 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 3.04% or 41.05 to trade at $1389.85 a troy ounce.USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 6.6145, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4661.The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 96.203.
